SADO-FASHIONIST & MARI JOIN ANA

As some of you may have noticed, I have set up, and proudly started not one, but two new blogs.

You may find the link on the right bar of this blog. The first one is called

SADO-FASHIONIST

"Sadofashionism has always been the furthest reach of the fashionable experience: when fashion becomes most purely fashionable, that is, severed from individuality, from personality, from taste, from style - the color, the material, the seduction, the justification, the aim, the fantasy."

There are few reasons why I started "Sado-Fashionist":
  1. I love fashion.
  2. I couldn't find any men fashion blog, who specifically writes mostly about men fashion. Although you see me posting about myself most of the times, it is only because I write about what I like. Obviously what I wear is what I like too. Simple math.
  3. Even though 'fashion' will be the major topic in the blog, I will still write about something slightly off the topic, such as arts, films, music, designs, architectures - anything fashionable. After all, fashion is merely what's in your wardrobe. It's a state of mind.
  4. I often heard, "Fashion is temporary; Style, is forever." Well, how can a style be 'forever', if fashion wasn't there to create your own style?
  5. Like I said, I only write what I like, therefore this blog is also my personal interpretation of the idea of fashion from my point of view. It has nothing to do with what other people think (or it does), and I welcome any comments/criticism/feedback.
  6. I will try to keep this blog true to my beliefs in fashion and everything in between, and I will also try to keep it simple and real. If you wish to read about fashion that's probably different from my style, please, with all due respect, read elsewhere.

Next, the second blog is called

MARI JOIN ANA

"We present an intimate look at the inner-self of a cult from both the members and the cult leaders points of view. It is an emotional human portrait that explores the reasons why our state of mind is the number one breeding ground for cults in the world, and a chilling reminder that it can happen to anyone. Mari Join Ana."

Few things you might wanna know about "Mari Join Ana":
  1. It is a group blog. At the moment the cult leaders is Kid Kapital, and myself. We will later invite a few more people to join our cult.
  2. This blog is writes more serious stuff, mainly politics, philosophy, world affairs, current issues, policies, psychology, sports, but still relates to our daily lives. We don't talk craps, we don't talk about things that meant nothing to us or our cult members or people around us.
  3. Actually we do talk crap things all the time, so we will write anything we want or we feel like, but at the end of the day, it has something that all of us can learn from, or think about. Or not. Whatever.
  4. We would like to open an invitation to those who believe they belong in this cult, to be one of the writers. They can have existing blogs, just like me.
  5. Every writers have different style of writing. Some are more serious, some are stupid, some are crazy. It doesn't matter, as long as we have the same wavelength of thinking. To simplify it, WE NEED CRAZY PEOPLE.
  6. The name of the blog itself means everything.

So yeah, I hope you can find time and read the other blogs too.

Stereophonics Live in KL

So this one group (or company) (or movement) called THIS FEELING is bringing what is being claimed as 'one of the best live bands in Britain', alongside Coldplay and Muse, that is Stereophonics.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of them, but what the hell, I'd go for the show. KL is too boring with no real entertainment. Why? Read HERE.

Watch couple of their videos.

Dakota

Maybe Tomorrow

This is a cover song they did at BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge. It's a song by Foo Fighters - Best Of You.

It's just less than two weeks away, and to make this more interesting, the first 500 tickets will be sold at EARLY BIRDS rate (RM78), then the price will go to the normal price (RM118). What are you waiting for?

Euphoria, M.O.S presents Steve "Kid Millionaire" Aoki

Honestly speaking, the only good thing about Aoki family is Devon. Come on, how do you compare Devon with Steve?

The lefty won by miles

Steve, with his weird shit:

Wrong version of Avatar

Guess he's turned on by the yellow-strapped guy

Devon (baby oh baby), on the other hand:

Bomb!
Even if this is not enough, look at this:

Nuclear!

But I'm not looking for a date, so that's not the point.

The point is, I wanna go LOCO on the Labour Day. I've been working my ass off throughout the year, and since my birthday is on the May 3rd, which falls on Monday, and everybody knows Monday is the suckest day of the week so it's gonna be the suckest birthday ever. So I've decided to 'fix' my birthday in advance that is on the May 1st, and hopefully, just hopefully, it'll be the best birthday ever.

Maybe some of you don't really listen to electro/clash, indie/clash, everything/clash. Now you should. Why? Watch this:

And I'm not the one that writes about the 'hype' of the town, as you can see me for the past years, doing these kind of things, and I shit you not:

See the backdrop? It's Tiesto in da house.

Bang-Mi!

You cannot catch me!

Somebody even jerked off!

I even witnessed some scary shits

Sometimes, I even had to peek

Trying to catch a breath

DJ Bunga (Twilight ActionGirl) represent!

Most of the times, I came home safely but,

Sometimes,

And the rest of the time,

Even these people were infected whenever I'm around:

Jeremy (Prana) was just as crazy as I was!

Thaitanium all day every day!

Even Rudy (Hitz.fm) was infected by me!

Mooky (One Buck Short) went nuts too!

Rahul (One Buck Short) and Moots (Pop Shuvit) were more insane!

Bondi Goodboy (Goodnight Electric) also couldn't resist me!

Even, and even when it's utterly impossible:

I will make it possible

And now you're telling me the Kid Millionaire party is gonna be crazy WITHOUT ME?

It will only get crazy when I'M IN THE HOUSE!!!

Mudahnya: TAK ADA PETI SEJUK.

Jadi bulan lepas setelah mengikat perut dan peras ugut orang sekeliling gua, berjaya lah juga gua sambar sepeti kotak sejuk. Jadi biasa lah, perasaan nak memasak datang balik. Macam orang angau tengah hangat bercinta; hari-hari gua belek fridge tu, hari-hari gua lap tak kasi kotor, hari-hari gua menatang minyak yang penuh. Yang paling best, hari-hari ada air sedap. Kalau nak tau, tunggu nanti gua buat parti minum-minum.

Engaged: Zul & Intan

Finally, last Saturday my closest cousin Zul got engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Intan.

Their love story is considered epic. First they hooked up both at the age of 15 (gatal!), went on for about five years and they broke up, and both of them moved on their own ways.

Suddenly after four years of no-contact policy, somehow the flame is still somewhere underneath their hearts, only need the right chemical to spark it again. And it did. They both dated again for another three years, and voilla!

It might not sound that interesting the way I wrote it, but believe me, I know their story, and it's really inspiring. Talking about things you'd do for love.

Anyways, congratulations to Zul & Intan. And I'll be the best man this coming December, again.

Placebo: The Concert

And so I went to the Placebo: Live in Kuala Lumpur last month.

I reached there almost 9.00pm. There was a very long queue of people, waiting to get in the concert venue, KL Live.

I was thrilled to see Placebo performing, because I believe they make good music. Unbiased, I would say. And I got free tickets to, so double the joy.

Twilight ActionGirl just finished their set when I entered the hall.

It was jam-packed already

And then everyone were shouting and screaming and I see,

Up-close sikit

So I started to make my move forward,

Jalan raya penuh sesak

Getting closer

On the way, I saw Brian Molko's guitars (demmit!)

Until I was third row from the front

The keyboardist/violinist lady that made everything sounded way better

~We can build a new tomorrow, today...~

This is when everyone went crazy,

I was no exception

Wanna see how the crowds looked like?

Insane!

They say there's always light at the end of the show

No, we were not worshiping the Sun

How was I looked?

Lost few pounds on the sweats alone

And what was I wearing?

Puma x Alexander McQueen
Nudie Jeans "Average Joe"

The best gig of the year, so far.
