Light vs. Sound

Why do people nowadays read so little, and then pretend they know everything? Just because they have a thing called 'Internet', they think they're smart?

Intelligence is so overrated.

Here's a fact: Light travels faster than sound.

Therefore people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Dilema bertudung.

Aza menggeliat sepuas-puasnya. Nasib baik tiada siapa nampak cara Aza menggeliat. Boleh jatuh sahamnya.

Tiba-tiba Aza teringat kisah semalam. Airmatanya terus berlinang.

Tapi aku nak!!!!", getas hati Aza. Dia nekad.

Now or never!

Bila daddy membuka pintu, Aza bersalam dengannya dan tanpa lengahkan masa, Aza membuka mulut, "Daddy, cheq nak pakai tudung. Cheq nak!"

Daddy terus jegil mata sebesar-besarnya. Macam ada api keluar!

Panggggggggggggggggggg!

Daddy hayun penampar ke muka Aza! Tersepuk Aza di celah set sofa.

"Aduhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... Sampai hati daddy! Cheq tau la daddy rasa malu kalau cheq pakai tudung. Salah ke kalau cheq nak tutup aurat cheq? Kalau adik dan abang tak nak...."

Pangggggggggggggggggggg....!

Daddy labuh pelempang ke muka Aza sekali lagi sebelum dia sempat menghabiskan ayat.

"Hang jangan nak bagi aku malu naaaa! Hang jangan nak buat pasai! Hang nak pakai tudung buat apa??? Dah 100 kali aku habaq, LELAKI TAK PAYAH PAKAI TUDUNG, LELAKI TAK PAYAH PAKAI TUDUNG!!! Tu la, bila time kelas agama, hang ponteng! Nama hang aku boh "RAZALI", tup tup lekat jadi AZA saja! Memang la dalam rumah ni semuanya tak bertudung sebab adik hang tu lelaki! Abang hang pun lelaki jugak!"

Aza yang tersepuk di celah sofa, terus menangis tersedu-sedu. Sudahlah sakit kena tampar, kena pelempang. Tudung pun tak dapat juga.

SALAH KAH AKU? SALAH KAH AKUUUUUUUU! OOOOO TIDAKKKKKKKKKK!

The HEART Truth.

I am using a tablet notebook PC (HP TouchSmart tx2) but funny thing is I hardly 'touch' the screen. Not really used to it, as I thought it'd be cool just to have it back then. Served my ego.

Actually I did some 'handwriting' with my touch screen before this, more like a test-run on my notebook. Awfully handsome handwriting I have, you know. Check it out

Anyways yesterday I made some artworks. Been trying to sharpen up my drawing and painting skills you know. Not sure if it's working out right for me but I'm pretty sure I'll still be having plenty of time playing around with it.

Here you go.

To be honest, I took this idea from HERE. You see I have a weak sense of drawing/painting, therefore I needed some "inspiration" to do something. But hey, at least I drew/painted them myself okay? And I did some improvisations as well. Not too bad, I think.

Now I can hear my notebook whispering to my ears (and I can't get over it) asking me to keep on touching its body, "touch my body... touch my body..." just like this guy/girl:

15 Ways To Get Smarter (and wiser)

Happy Monday.

Intelligence is beauty and knowledge is power. So, seek knowledge and be intelligent. Here’s how you do it.

1. Think outside the box
Have you ever got stuck trying to solve a problem? Well, you’re not alone. “For every problem, there is a solution” seem very far from truth when we found ourselves in this situation. I used to remember what my father told me, and this is probably the best advice he has ever given me. “When you are stuck trying to solve a problem, take a step back and look at it from different angles.” I don’t quite get it at first. “Take a step back… you mean literally? How does that help?” Soon I realized that what he actually meant was to look at the problem from an outsider point of view, without any assumptions made, that had me reached the dead end. In short? Think outside the box.

2. Don’t make assumptions
We all seem to have a tendency to make assumptions (and yes, I do realize this is an assumption as well… ). It seems to be in our blood to relate everything based to our experiences and opinions. Don’t. Discounting ideas or solutions just because you find it ridiculous doesn’t mean it really is. Assumptions are the one that had us stuck inside the box. In order to think outside the box, we need to consider every possible explanation. But that can only be done once we get rid of our assumptions that hinder fresh insights.

3. Ask questions
In my opinion, this is the best way to gain knowledge. Ask questions. You can ask others or to yourself. I often use this method to come up with topics to write. If you put your brain into work by asking questions and actually try to solve it, I promise that you’ll be surprise of what you are actually capable of. Well, if you haven’t already. And this is exactly what every bright mind has in common. They ask tons of questions. Scientist, writer, entrepreneur and investor are just some of them. The 6W's (why, what, who, when, where and how) makes a great companion if you know when to use it.

4. Ask the RIGHT question
But you can’t just ask any questions. Asking the right question gives us the answer we seek. Ask the wrong question however, and you’ll end up wasting your time. I find “why” and “how” very relevant to my work so I use it as often as I could. It might be the same for you, or it might not.

5. Dare to differ in opinion
We all have this herd mentality in us. Sure, they work to protect us. But there’s something you need to understand. The opinion of the majority doesn’t mean that they are right, it only means that they are popular, and nothing more. But surely they have good reasons to have the same opinion. Fair enough. But you need to understand that, we men, are easy to be manipulated by statistical numbers, the authority (government, the mainstream media and the likes) and words like “the majority…”, “most people…”, etc. Sound familiar, don’t you think? These days, I only believe what make sense to me. For everything else, I don’t bother.

6. Understanding the motive
For every action, there’s a motive behind it. Most are good, and cause no harm, and then there are some that are not. An example would be the time you’re helping your mother out with the dishes. Your motive would be for her to do less and make her happy. While it’s not important to pay attention to every motive behind an action, especially when it comes to people we can trust. After all, you don’t want to be a calculative person. However, it is still important to be aware of it. Just make sure you remember, that when things look fishy, always run the opposite direction.

7. Read books
Books are a great resource for knowledge. For the average price of a book, the things that we can actually learn from them are far more valuable. Besides, reading is always a good habit to instill, plus it’s convenient.

8. Know you are
We cannot escape from confident now can we? Even when it comes to being smart, you must first acknowledge that you are. It’s not about being overconfident or conceited for that matter. But in order to have the courage to differ in opinions, you must first have the confident to believe that yours are right.

9. Free of emotion
A good decision making is one which is free of bias and emotions. I think it’s safe to say that we all have acted on impulse at least once or twice up till now. It’s just like gambling. Sometimes, you got lucky and you hit the jackpot. Most of the time however, things don’t turn out pretty. Which is why, going through rational thinking process in making the final decision is always the best bet we can make. At the very least, everything is taken into consideration, unlike following our gut feeling.

10. Mix with people smarter than you
When it comes learning, nothing beats observing and getting the knowledge from our friends. A good example, if you often mix with people who have good sense of humor, you would, sooner or later turn into someone who also has good sense of humor. This is exactly what happened to me, not that I’m saying I have good sense of humor…. So, do try to spend some time with the people who have good knowledge in things you are interested in immersing, and you would bound to be knowledgeable in the area of your interest.

11. Learn from other people’s mistake
The best way to avoid mistakes is to learn from the mistakes of others. Be constantly aware of what and why things went wrong. This way, you won’t have to pay for the cost of ignorance to the order of how things usually work.

12. Find your mistakes
I have always tried to find new methods that can enhance my many skills. Recently however, I have come to learned that it is so much easier to find mistakes and improve them than to look for ways of doing things right.

13. Don’t put the blame on others
Usually, when we put the blame on others, we would be blind of our own mistakes. And if we don’t acknowledge or learn from our own mistakes, chances are high that we are going to repeat it. Therefore, it is always wiser to blame ourselves before finding the mistakes of others.

14. Free of prejudice
Prejudice makes us dumb. It put thoughts in our head. Thoughts that shouldn’t exist, and blind us from truth. It’s like shopping for a book. You can’t just pick up a book with a pretty cover and head to the counter can you? And then, there’ s title, author, reviews and excerpt to consider, which is why it’s always better to avoid judging based on first impression, whenever possible.

15. Have common sense
I think this goes without saying.

It's so easy to be DUMB, I had to paste this down just to remind myself.

In fact, it's not that interesting.

I humbly ask for forgiveness for I have posted some misleading information in this

Quirky Things About Me (That Some People Don't Get)?

Ripped this from hiddie's blog. She ripped it from somebody else, and that somebody else ripped it from somebody somebody else and so on.

Frankly, I was never keen on doing this list but I kept thinking, human are unique, and why not we share some things with others? It'll make the world a more beautiful place to live in.

Sometimes, some things are just quirky.
  1. I am obsessed with shoes, especially sneakers. I love footsie.
  2. I choose my attire starting from shoes, then shirts/tops. It has to match. Then only the pants/jeans. Accessories are optional.
  3. I MUST take a dump every morning before I go out or else I'll be swinging mood like a baseball bat.
  4. While I shit every morning, I multitask. I brush my teeth with left hand and shampoo my hair with right hand. Saves a few minutes but trains my brain to work simultaneously. I wish I can do something with both my legs at the same time like brushing the toilet floor and shave my balls.
  5. I boil water every morning and fill all the empty bottles. Actually every free time. I have some sort of paranoia, I'll be panicked if there's no clean water to drink in the house.
  6. When I go to gym, I refuse/avoid to talk to anyone as in strangers, or make friends unless it's a hot bombshell. I need those hours to think, or to not think at all.
  7. I MUST listen to Ryuichi Sakamoto's Bibo No Aozora before I go to sleep.
  8. If you want my ideas, get me some weed. I'll mindfuck you to your bones.
  9. I learn piano because I want to learn how to control 10 fingers, both legs, and my eyes at the same time, playing the same music, but in different movements and timing. Seriously, piano mindfucked me.
  10. I love to mindfuck myself. It's like playing chess on your own, against yourself. One part of the brain is trying to win over the other. How fucked up is that?
  11. I am fascinated by HUMAN BEHAVIOR. I love to profile people. Just profiling, not judging. I want to be a MENTALIST.
  12. I am fascinated by WORDS. Punch-lines, mostly.
  13. I am terrified with SNAKES. I almost passed out every goddamn time I see a snake.
  14. I am trying so hard to overcome that fear. I think one day I'll just jump into a pool of snakes and see if I'll still be alive after 5 seconds.
  15. I'm an adrenaline junkie. I love the idea of living on the edge.
  16. I can't differentiate left and right if you ask me instantly i.e while driving. I repeat, instantly. I'm not that retarded okay. I got that from my ex-girlfriend. Thank you, at least there's something about you that I inherit.
  17. I can smoke 20 sticks of cigarettes a day, for months or years, and stop the next day, for months or years, with minute withdrawal symptoms. I smoke to socialize. I socialize every day, because I am a human. Stop smoking cigarettes or even weed, or even join a gangster clan, or play poker ONLINE! Get a fucking life.
  18. I bet to lose. I give presents to people not to hope that one day I'll receive something back in return from them. But I did/gave it because I don't know if I'll ever see them again tomorrow.
  19. I love my friends but I know friendships come and go. I don't overdo my friendship. If they want to stay friends with me, I really appreciate it and keep them safe and happy with me. If not, I just let go. It'll be much easier to be friends with little expectation. But I do have a few REAL FRIENDS though.
  20. I can live alone. I can. I don't feel anything if no one calls or texts me for days. I think I want to go to a place where I lost my sense in communication and direction, and see if I can make it out.
  21. I am a quirk.

Some get it, some don't.
Some will, some won't.
Those that do, do.
Those that don't, they just don't.

Smack them BITCHES up!

I really have to quote this from my ever-beloved cousin, Shaq, and I quote;

Dude trust me... No matter how much you bloody love someone or how much you are truthful to someone, that someone will motherfucking accuse you of being a fucking liar! Confucius was WRONGGGG son!! If you treat someone nicely, don't ever fucking expect them to return the treatment. Fuck all those who thinks I'm a fucking liar!

I did some improvisation in there as well, because I feel him, I really do and I wanna shout this motherfucking quote out to ya'll BITCHES out there! Ya heard??!!

And when I say BITCHES, I mean all the BITCHES out there, regardless you're a guy-bitch or a girl-bitch. A bitch is a bitch.

Yes I'm bitter, why? Because these bitches can't see, they can't feel obviously because they are fucking retarded, low-life breeds. When we treat you right, you give us shits back. Like tonnes of it. You think we're some shit-cleaners? But it's alright because we know how to turn shits into gold. Keep trying to make fool of us because at the end of the day, we smack them bitches up!

I got 99 motherfucking problems but A BITCH ain't fucking one.

Kids know it too.

Cracky Sunday Morning

Last night was Halloween, if I'm not mistaken. Thanks to whatever-your-name-was girl I met a couple weeks back, who's a champion for Halloween party. Seriously, what has it got to do with us Malaysians by the way? We have enough ghosts or ghost stories or incidents, more than what the Westerns have. And, our ghosts are way scarier. We don't need Halloween for ghost's sake!

Anyway, last night I stayed at home watching football and jammed some music with my cousin and housemates. I'm sure many of you guys went out for the party or watched football somewhere. Shit was funny yo, we were talking about stupid stuff and all. To my cousin Shaq, you're the bomb!

This morning, I woke up feeling cracky. Must be the last night's effect. Demmit! I wasn't sure what I want to do now. I'm kinda confused ya know. And I know most of you are having the same vibe too. It's called hangover. Ha ha ha.

So I'd like to share this one video. One good funny video. What you can do after you watched it, is to choose which one are you.

Feeling cracky? Meet spidey.

Have a lazy weekend guys.

Crash-course yourself in music.

Ya wanna be recognise instantly in the entertainment industry, spesifically in MUSIC?

Worry not. I am here to tell you guys and girls how to get the limelight you have always dreamed of since Akademi Fantasia was accidentally created.

Oh actually I don't have to tell you how, I'll just provide some excellent examples from few artists that actually made to the music scene.

And I don't have to tell you that these are all my personal selection and has nothing to do with other people's choice, Grammy or anything related. They're lame.

So here we go. I first present you..............

CRASH-COURSE #1

Jonny Jakobsen a.k.a Dr. Bombay. Tell me who never heard any of his songs? At least the Calcutta (Taxi, taxi, taxi) above? He's Swedish, by the way.

CRASH-COURSE #2

Born James Edwards, he flew into the music scene under the name of Jimmy Ray with the help of his manager at that time, Simon Fuller. If anyone's wondering, Simon was the manager for The Spice Girls and the creator of Idol franchise. Sounds big. Right. ~Who wants to know, who wants to know bout me?~ Erkk, no one?

CRASH-COURSE #3

Ben Wilder? No, Matthew Wilder. Matthew-fucking-who?

CRASH-COURSE #4

Sam Norman, or Samwell made him retardedly funny with his video What What (In The Butt). It's weird because the song is lincensed through Fatboy Slim's record label. Maybe Mr. Norman Cook has a thing for what's in the butt, I don't know.

CRASH-COURSE #5

I have nothing else to say about this El Chombo motherfucker. Must have been the best produced song of all-time. Effort rate? 90% of stupidity and drunk.

*******
Last but not least, if you want to be in the music scene, it takes a little bit more of effort and courage. Remember, don't crash yourself.
