Ten reasons why it is United's year

Here are 10 reasons why 2010/11 will be our year...

1. The weight of history – Since Sir Alex’s first championship win, only once has there been a gap of more than a year (2004-2006) between United losing and regaining the crown. You won’t get much value betting against another win in 2010/11.

2. Hunger – The gaffer always looks his players in the eye before the season begins to see if the drive to succeed is still there, but he’ll scarcely need to rally the troops this time around. We confidently beat the current champions at Wembley on Sunday, and there’s no doubting we want our trophy back!

3. World Cup woe – Chicharito aside, United’s internationals had disappointing World Cup campaigns. Why is this good? 1) They’ll be desperate to get back to winning ways. 2) They’ll have had a decent rest.

4. We can’t be that unlucky with injuries again – Surely we won’t spend another winter with two entire back fours on the treatment table.

5. Help for Wayne - 30+ goals between a resurgent Dimitar Berbatov and the new-boy Chicharito, You heard it here first.

6. A last hurrah? - Giggsy, Scholesy, Nev and Edwin will all want another winners’ medal before (eventually) hanging up their boots (although rumour has it Ryan may get a contract extension to 2050)

7. Youngsters to the fore – the new breed, led by Jonny Evans, will be crucial to United’s squad. Keep an eye on Rafael, Fabio, Macheda, Gibson, Smalling and Obertan, plus a hot tip for a midfield breakthrough, Tom Cleverley.

8. John O’Shea – His defensive balance was sorely missed last term (he played 54 games in 2008/09) and we’ve just got a hunch he’ll do something absolutely crucial in the run-in. Let’s say, a winner at the Emirates…

9. Rooney’s still learning – 34 goals last season after a tactical shift up top showed Wayne’s football brain is still expanding. He only stopped scoring in the run-in (and in the World Cup) because he wasn’t properly fit. He will get even better.

10. We are United. And we don’t like second.

Masih syaitan, masih haram, maka masih masuk neraka.

The Year of the Rudeboy.

PFA Player of the Year (Rudeboy) and PFA Young Player of the Year (Milner)

Where they have come this season:

Hull (5)
Portsmouth (4)
Milan (4)
West Ham (3)
Wigan (3)
Arsenal (2)
Fulham (2)
Man City (2)
Aston Villa (1)
Bayern (1)
Birmingham (1)
Blackburn (1)
Burnley (1)
Chelsea (1)
Liverpool (1)
Tottenham (1)
Wolves (1)

And, for the fourth consecutive year:

2007 - C. Ronaldo
2008 - C.Ronaldo
2009 - Giggsy
2010 - Rudeboy

And now, only waiting for two more games to grab the only team to win the EPL title for the fourth consecutive year.

And because of that, I dedicate this song to Wayne "The Rudeboy" Rooney. You know Rihanna has a thing for you, mate.

~Come, Rudeboy...~

Nike Sportswear National Team Kits for South Africa World Cup 2010

FIFA 2010 World Cup South Africa is coming soon. Not that soon, in only about 111 days from now to be exact. I don't know about you guys but I will be staying up all month long for this once-in-four-year fiesta.

But football is not what I wanna talk about here literally. If you really wanna read some funny shit football stories, go to SOKERNET. It's damn freaking hilarious I tell ya.

Anyway just slightly on a more fashionable note, Nike Sportswear has teamed up with some very talented graphic artists to come up with National Team Kit for its sponsored nations for this coming 2010 World Cup. These artists were chosen based on their origin, meaning they have to be originally from the country they design for.

Say not much, here you go.

For more info on Kronk, click HERE.

For more info on Mister Cartoon, click HERE.

For more info on So Me, click HERE.

For more info on Delta, click HERE.

For more info on Nunca, click HERE.

For more info on James Jarvis, click HERE.

:Info via High Snobiety

So far there are six National Team Kit have been presented. I am sure there will be more National Team Kit by Nike Sportswear to be announced as we speak.

It's a really positive progress to see that arts and subculture artists are being recognised and being given the honor to take their national pride to the opposite side of the mainstream.

I'm sure if our proud country Malaysia ever to compete in FIFA World Cup (20??) we might have Datuk Lat to design it. Ermm, he must be too old for that shit though.

Ten Ten Ten Ten Ten Ten Ten Ten Ten Ten

So, it's the new decade already. 2010.

Ten years ago, I was 16 going on 17, the final year of my high school life. Sweet memories, as always.

However, we look back to our past, so that we know what have we missed, which turns have we wrongly made, what made us who we are now, and try and try and keep trying to be a better person as a whole.

There are so many quotes and sayings about "the past" which I am more than generous to share with you. Click HERE, and type "Past Quotes" in the Search Box, and there you go.

Today I want to share 10 categories of the decade. Here are the lists:
  1. Top 10 Songs of the Decade (by Rolling Stones)
  2. Top 10 Movies of the Decade (by IMDb)
  3. Top 10 Emerging Artists of the Decade (by Heavy)
  4. Top 10 Sneakers of the Decade (by Complex)
  5. Top 10 Consistently Sexy Women of the Decade (by Gunaxin)
  6. Top 10 Style Trends of the Decade (by Complex)
  7. Top 10 Books of the Decade (by About.com)
  8. Top 10 Cars of the Decade (by CarFront)
  9. Top 10 Sportsperson of the Decade (by Herald Sun)
  10. It's my personal Top 10 of the Decade (to be posted later)

Top 10 Songs of the Decade (by Rolling Stones)

10. Eminem - "Stan"

4. Outkast - "Hey Ya!"
3. Beyonce - "Crazy In Love"
2. Jay-Z - "99 Problems"

I've listened to all of the songs before this, and I like all of them. It's a good list.

8. WALL·E
7. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

4. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
3. Cidade de Deus (City of God)
2. The Lord of The Rings: The Return of the King

Not surprising, I have none of these monsters. But I'd LOVE to have ALL of them, because yes, call me a hypebeast, I totally agree on the list. 8. Lindsay Lohan
7. Jessica Biel

Well I had to use this list because I need to emphasize the word "CONSISTENTLY", just to eliminate Megan Fox from the list (don't worry Megan baby, you'll definately be the #1 by the end of this decade!). And, the list was made based on the consistency of these babes being nominated in Maxim’s Hot 100, AskMen.com’s Top 99 Women, and FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World. Now that's mathematics!

Apart from #10 which I never heard of, the rest of the list are just superhumans, precisely #1, he is beyond human ability. Watch it HERE. Jah!

*******

I'm kinda satisfied with the lists. They were all not entirely that bad, personally. It's not easy to choose from thousands of lists and actually make sense to me. You see, those lists were selected based on my personal opinions from different sources, safe to say from trusted sources, hence I put the source link so that you guys can compare to your lists (if you have one), even better from other sources. Perbezaan itu hikmah. I have to agree that a few categories were slightly biased (if not more), but I couldn't find a better list to top the one that I posted. Nevertheless, it's a good sharing.

So what about the categories?

Again, I can easily picked any Top 10's of the decade, but I personally chose those nine categories (apart from the tenth) because that's what I enjoy in my life. Music, films, art, sneakers, women, fashion/trend, books, cars, and sports. I wanted to squeeze in another category, which is "Top 10 Holiday Spots of the Decade" but I have no idea. I'll just leave it at that for now.

So what about you guys? Do you have any lists of the decade?

Just on the lighter note, in honoring the title of this entry:

Battle at The Berrics 2: Chris Cole vs Paul Rodriguez

The Championship Match between Chris Cole vs Paul Rodriguez for the Battle of The Berrics 2 finally took place. Both internationally renowned skaters took on a gruesome game of SKATE.

Frankly, I've never seen anybody landed so many tricks in a battle like both of them did. Both of them were (still are) CRAZY.

My vote goes to P-Rod but let's see who's gonna win.

What a wonderful world.

I just got up. Slept at around 6-ish this morning. Anyway I would like to take this chance and I think it's not too late to wish Happy Eid Mubarak to all Muslims, and happy holiday to the rest. Although I believe it's a little bit overrated in Malaysia, the celebration and preparation, at the end of the day we are succumbed to the society pressure.

I haven't had the chance to update my blog in a while, errr well in a few days actually. Worry not, I'm back fuckers!

And the best way to start it again is by posting something that I'm ecstatic about. Yes.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present you...

Manakala Kelab Bolasepak Ayam Biru akan menghantar penyokongnya yang tersendiri:

Memang kelakar.

Gua?

Gua pula tak sempat beli tiket pergi London hari ni. Kalau beli sekarang pun mesti sampai Heathrow Airport dah dekat-dekat nak start game, dengan jet lag lagi, dengan sejuk lagi nak pergi singgah Hyde Park lepak-lepak usha awek lagi, nak pergi round dekat Piccadilly Circus lagi nak shopping raya lagi seminggu saja, nak buka puasa lagi dekat Malaysia Hall, memang tak sempat lah nak tengok. Jadi gua pun mungkin layan depan TV rumah gua ataupun mana-mana kedai yang sudi pasang TV tu. Kedai makan lah, bukan kedai jual barang-barang letrik.

Ye, perlawanan berat sebelah dan bakal meng'grill'kan Ayam-Ayam Biru sekalian akan disepak mula jam 12.30 tengah malam waktu Malaysia, atau bersamaan jam 5.30 petang waktu Meridian Greenwich.

Grim Reaper will have a hell of a task to catch this man

I know I might be the 17,848,693 person on this planet to write/blog about Usain Bolt's world record breakers in 100 metres four days ago and now, 200 metres just last night.

The Lightning Bolt

I don't care, I still want to write about this guy.

Usain Bolt will be celebrating his 23rd birthday tomorrow, is currently the fastest running human on the planet. He showed his sprint potential since his early age. In 2002, he won the 200 metres gold medal in 2002 World Junior Championships, making him the competition's youngest-even gold medalist. And the rest you can read HERE.

I don't know what to write. I get goosebumps every time I watch this guy sprints. He is so influential, during his participant in a sprint race in England, supposed to be a "street race" where they build the track on the street (hence, it's a street race), local authority was worried that after the race, people would start to run on the streets on England. Funny.

Let's watch both the record breakers at 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics, a.k.a Berlin 2009.

100 metres world record breaker (versi Bahasa Jerman)

200 metres world record breaker (versi Bahasa Jerman)

I wonder how will the Grim Reaper does his job to this guy later? Must be hell of a task.

Kisah malang yang berdarah

Dah dua minggu gua belasah hari gua sampai pagi. Dari pagi sampai pagi. Setiap hari. Bangun pagi jam 9-10 itu macam, lepas tu pergi kerja belasah kerja-kerja gua yang menimbun macam tempat pelupusan sampah dekat Kepong sana tu. Sebab apa gua cakap macam tempat pelupusan sampah?

Sampai jam 7 kena turun kedai bawah sebab kena pergi minum bersama-sama Table of Four Committee (bukan The Jackson Five).

Sekurang-kurangnya. Selasa pula gua pergi main basketball dari 10-12 malam. Malam basketball gua jarang lepak sebab budak-budak tu komited kerja. Esok kena kerja la apa la. Semua orang pun kena kerja. Apa daa...

Tapi semalam ada terjadi sebuah kisah agak malang.

Kitaorang main basketball macam biasa 10-12 malam. Gua memang tak sihat sangat; ankle kanan gua terseliuh sebab jatuh masa main basketball minggu lepas, shin kiri gua pula kena rembat dengan mamat mana entah masa main futsal minggu lepas juga. Dua-dua tempat gua pernah patah dan retak suatu masa dahulu. Awsem.

Tengah seronok bersukan, melompat-lompat bagai, tiba-tiba...

Gedegang!

Kepala berlaga dengan siku Umar Zayeed. Berpinar-pinar. Nampak bintang. Pandangan kabur.

Darah.

Demmit.

"Pergi tandas cepat, cuci darah tu."

Menitik-nitik darah. Sah mesti koyak kepala ni.

Comel kan koyak tu? Nampak saja kecil, tapi darah memancut dah macam pili bomba pecah. Baru lah jantan beb.

"Rilek. Meh sini aku tengok sikit." "Hmm sah koyak kening kau ni."

"Umar, pergi minta kapas dengan ubat dekat kaunter. Minta dengan uncle."

"Lepas ni kita pergi klinik terus lah. Mesti kena jahit ni, kurang-kurang tiga."

Ini bukan telur separuh masak. Ini ubat kuning bercampur darah.

Pening, pitam semua ada. Mata rasa macam pedih saja. Muka dah macam nak bengkak. Habis session, terus chow pergi cari klinik area rumah gua. Gua perasan ada satu klinik 24-jam. Boleh lah.

Sampai klinik, terus daftar dekat kaunter, sebab kes emergency, terus dapat masuk, tak payah tunggu lama-lama, nanti lama-lama dia diambil orang.

Setel. Tiga jahit. Kena RM100 juga. Gampang.

Muka nak cas sihat walafiat. Blah lah.

He he he sebenarnya bukan gua yang kena, tapi member gua encik Bala @ Shahril Yaakob. Encik Bala ni besfren gua dari Form 1, satu dorm, satu kelas, satu team basketball dengan gua, partner in crime, segala. Tapi dia ni tak ada criminal record, gua pula......... Dia main hustle sangat, lepas tu pakai glasses, memang peluang nak kena tinggi la. Tu lah Bala lain kali pakai lah contact lense! Pemalas!

Gua sempat singgah kedai DVD haram sebelah klinik tu. Mana tahu ada filem menarik boleh gua kaji pula. Tapi gua jumpa benda ni:

Gua sempat tangkap satu gambar saja sebab macha yang kerja kat situ ingat gua spy polis, dia dah usha ketat kat gua macam Sivaji The Boss

Terbit rasa pelik dalam hati gua. Masa mamat ni masih hidup, macam-macam lu orang panggil dia; monyet lah, King of Plop lah, child mollester lah, black trying to be white lah, apa lancau semua lah. Sekarang dia dah masuk kubur baru lah semua orang nak pasang lagu dia, nak menangis lah, nak beli jaket merah Thriller dia lah, nak apply jadi ahli Jackson Five lah, entah apa-apa lagi. Konsert dia dekat KL dulu pun lu tak pergi, nak claim kipas-susah-mati, konon. Get a fucking life, posers.

Kisah malang gua diakhiri dengan sesi makan Nasi Kandar Makbul sebab gua sudah teman Bala pergi klinik so dia belanja gua makan. Nasi kuah banjir, ayam goreng dengan telur rebus kasi hancur, lepas tu gaul dengan nasi. Teh O' Ais. Memang best geng.

Bala chow awal lepas Table of Four Committee datang untuk bersidang. Gua yang suruh dia chow, kalau tidak nanti dia drive kereta tu lepas tu mengantuk nanti langgar divider kat Salak South sana lagi sekali pula, susah gua nak kena pergi rescue.

Gua dan ahli majlis lepak lagi; minum, makan, kunyah, hisap rokok, hisap rokok lagi, order air lagi, thosai, meggi goreng telur mata powder, segala gosip keluar, bisnes buah jambu 88, segala masalah negara sampai hal nak mengurat awek pun jadi topik. Sedar-sedar dah jam 4 pagi. Jahanam.

Tak boleh jadi. Semua orang balik.

Sampai rumah. Gua dengan tak mandi, bau macam longkang tersumbat dekat rumah gua yang kalau tersumbat mesti gua yang kena jadi buruh kasar kasi korek balik sampai clear. Apalah nasibku ini. Gua terus loncat atas tilam, pasang lagu puitis-puitis dalam henpon gua, bajet nak layan tidur.

Entah apahal pula tak boleh tidur ni. Sebutir-sebutir lagu gua dengar jelas. Tak mengantuk, badan letih gila tapi otak nak suruh gua fikir sesuatu. Nak fikir apa lagi la otak?! Kepala hotak lu lah otak, gua nak tidur ni!!!

Gua rasa gua lelap jam 5.30 pagi. Bangun jam 8.30 pagi sebab Ma call, dia tanya bila nak balik rumah, dia rindu. Gua cakap tunggu hujung minggu, itu pun tak tentu. Kerja gua kan macam tempat pelupusan sampah sekarang ni.

10 Best Moments in Slam Dunks!

Those who know me, I'm a basketball freak. Since I was in secondary school, I play every goddamn day. Of all the skills, I almost did a slam dunk. But it's either I was too short, I was too heavy or I was just a plain lazy ass mofo. Anyway, just for you guys to enjoy some of the greatest moments in NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Competition.

Guess who's the number one? My all-time idol.
