Restless Holiday.

I am as happy and at the same time, feeling a lil bit awkward of going to Langkawi this weekend for my holiday trip. In fact, it's been the 3rd day of my holiday (since Wednesday) and no matter what time I slept be it 7am, I ended waking up at 10.00am every morning. And this very moment at 12.30pm I don't know what else to do. Usually I will be working this time around, running here, drafting business proposals, doing researches, write letters to numerous ministers and whatnot. Can't really imagine if I don't work. Bumming in front of the TV watching some pathetic romantic movies.

A feeling so awkward to a point that I think I'm a workaholic, but it's actually not. I don't think I'm workaholic but the more suitable definition for me is 'hardworking'. I still enjoy good times after work, I go out and do a lot of different things. But now knowing that I'm leaving for Penang and Langkawi, I'm just restless. Unsettled.

Maybe I need to cheer up a lil bit and focus on the fun journey. It's been a while since I went for a holiday and this particular one should be fun.

I still don't have a digital camera!!!

Langkawi New-Year Holiday Preparations

As some of you might know (or might not care at all), I'll be going to Langkawi Island for about a week. It's actually a tradition set by Khaidi Kamaruddin, my boss in the company I'm working with now, Motorsports Malaysia. It's like a team building thing, but no specific schedule or anything, just having fun together with the team, relatives and close friends. Believe me, to build a strong solid team, the program has to be fun!

I haven't been out chilling, a real holiday I mean, in quite a long time. Worked with the company for almost a year, and I never been out of KL, except when the Komodo Ninja hit Pure Bar, Malacca for the Sneaker Collection Party back in July or something. Yeah, as far as I could remember, I didn't go out of the city for anything. Demmmm....

So yeah, now I'm planning to really have a nice and relaxing week by the beach a.k.a beach bum. But, knowing me, I'm quite a particular person when it comes to planning for my trip or anything related so I need a cool-to-have list of things when I'm there. Why do you have to be so fussy about it? I just like to be cool. I've always stressed out that the most important thing is to make yourself happy so in that order, I wanna make sure I made a cool-planned trip. You don't wanna slap your own face when you forgot to bring a thong later you know what I mean... Plus, I totally have no problem travelling light, I can even go there with a small pouch only. I would not list in TOOTHBRUSH, SUN BLOCK, or even SWIMMING TRUNKS because only a dirty un-hygienic ignorant motherfucker would not bring those. As long as I go there with the existence of these few, I'll be just happy:

1. Nike Air Rejuven8

Straight out of the Innovation Kitchen..

Nike’s development lab for unconventional ideas - is the Air Rejuven8; a shoe that is specifically engineered to help tired feet recuperate in anticipation for the next bout of activity - perfect for athletes/those with active lifestyles to wear in-between sports.

Removable socks. Just like condoms.

I can wear this at all time in Langkawi without even have to bring few sandals or shoes or anything. Just perfect!

2. Nike DriFit Pro

Hollow man...

I need it because I already planned to buy it for quite some time for my martial arts training purpose. Nahh just kidding. For any sports purpose lah! I don't wanna get 2nd degree sunburn or something so i need to wear a tee, and sleeveless is fine because I believe when I wear it, I looked exactly just like this:

Whatchu ladies lookin at..??

3. Oakley Frogskin Sunglasses

Frog with four eyes..

A beach bum isn't a beach bum without a proper sunglasses.. This wayfarer-type of shades are just the right type to wear and cover your reddish eyes from the results of... errr, too much UVs.. And the best part is, it GLOWS IN THE FUCKING DARK. That way, under the dark cold windy night, I can be seen just in case!

I like everything that grows in the dark... Oppsss, I mean glows.

Who made the coolest and funkiest shades other than Oakley, innit?

4. Paul Smith Towel

The realms of fashion and lifestyle..

Towel is synonym to beach. Why a Paul Smith's? I have to say, the towel looks yummy... Paul Smith signature swirl/stripes colorway has always been a turn-on for me. I'm expecting a scarf from Fazz (if you ever read this Fazz), and now I'm looking for this for my holiday.

Knit Sweater

One of the most coveted underground streetwear labels in the world today..

In Russian, Мишка or Mishka [pronounced: mee-shka] means "bear cub". Mishka is a brand from New York established in 2003. Mishka is always one of my favorite brands with a very unique, simple, provoking and sometimes funny. I need this knit sweater (but not this design, I'm buying a different design) for a cooler evenings in Langkawi.

Now I'm set! Langkawi, just wait for a your Naughty Pirate!

Poetry: Adakah Nyawa

Wish List Year-End 2008 (Part 3)

Woohoo today is already December 19th of 2008. I still have few wish-lists to fill in. For those who don't know what a wish-list is, it's actually a list of what you wish to have/buy/steal (wow, genius!). This is already my part-3 of I-still-don't-know parts. As long as it's not crossed 2009, I still can wish!

So the last two parts I wished for a digital camera (still undecided), a watch by Luminox x Stussy x Delta, a pair of Dior Homme jeans and a shirt by H&M x Comme des Garcons (you can check it at my Naughty Labels). Now I have another two things I really want, really. But this time around, it's not clothings or apparels. It's something I can use to decorate my house. Something fresh, something unique.

Item 05: Skateboard decks

A what?? A skateboard deck?? Errr, yeah... But not 'a', skateboard decks. You mean more than one??? Errr, yeah... What the heck??!?? Hey, don't be too negative okay. Let me show you what I have in mind.

Cute lil' pets shit on my decks.

What do you guys think? Cute isn't it? Hehe.. It's uber-cool.. This is a set of skateboard decks from one of the well-known name in streetwear scene, SupremeNYC with a collaboration with "one of the most thoughtful and thought-provoking Japanese artist in the 90's", the very own Takashi Murakami. In case you don't know who Takashi Murakami is, and what damage he's done in the fashion scenes, I'll give you a hint of one of it:

That's not a candy store honey..

Yes, he's done a marvellous collaboration with a superbrand everyone-wants-to-have-one-be-it-the-handkerchiefs-or-even-some-cheapskates-handbags-from-Petaling-Street, LV or Louis Vuitton. With a different approach on the 'Multicolor' collections, something that was not very familiar with LV (they are more into classy, luxury look).

This set of three skateboard decks Is really nice to hang on my house wall. Or I can just put it like this:

X'Mas comes early!

Item 06: Toy

What the hell is wrong with you??! Nothing. I'm just trying to, you know, be a little different. Buy different stuff and all. Don't be mistaken, this toy I'm hunting for is something not many people would like to put in their house. I don't mind. I like it though.

Half human, half amazing..

This is a figurine toy called Kaws Dissected Companion by a famous graffiti artist, Kaws. He has a clothing line called OriginalFake. I've been eyeing this lil cutie quite some times. Why do you like it? How do I say this. It's very unique, and looks good. Actually my initial plan few years back was to buy this as a present to my ex-girlfriend. I thought it'd be cool for her to have it since she's a doctor and this figurine is like an artistic approach of a human anatomy or something. But things didn't work out the way we both wanted too (too bad) so I kinda 'canceled' the purchase. It's quite expensive to me but fuck it, this time I'm gonna get this for myself!

I think I'll have one last part of my wish-list next time, right before New Year 2009. Another two items I'd love to have either this year or early next year depending on the BONUS I'll be getting! Please pray with me.

Movie: True Romance

WHO SAID ROMANCE IS DEAD?

I'll be honest, initially I bought this movie because of the TITLE. Yep! True Romance... At a glance. Can it be any better title than that? Hell no! And of course, me being myself (a true romantic guy *woohoo*) I've always looked for talk-of-the-town movies. I don't mind old movies or new movies or anything, but normally I would ask people. I ask people about a lot of things, all the time. Not that I'm indecisive or uncertain or having no stand but more to be sure and not acting bodoh sombong. After all, I'm not going to decide something based on other people's suggestions or influence. I will make my own decision, and I will stand by it like a man.

Anyways, back to this movie. I bought it because of the title and when I flipped back, I saw the line-ups. Wow, heavyweights.. Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer, Christopher Walken, Gary Oldman, Brad Pitt, Sam Lee Jackson and few more (James Gandolfini for instance!) very talented actors. Written by Quentin Tarantino? What? Directed by Tony Scott? What?? I mean, wow..... Bought it without any second thought.

Went home, placed myself in the laziest position on the couch, and pressed the triangle "Play" button.

This story is kinda like "Bonnie & Clyde" remake, but in a very own Tarantino-style. It's about a guy, Clarence Worley (Slater) who coincidently met a woman, Alabama Whitman (Arquette) in a cinema. One thing led to another and voilla, the magic happened. But the truth is Alabama was sent by Clarence's boss as a gift for his birthday (Alabama was a call-girl). But Alabama told him that she think she loves him. This is what she said,

ALABAMA: Please shut up! I'm trying to come clean, okay? I've been a call-girl for exactly four days and you're my third customer. I want you to know that I'm not damaged goods. I'm not what they call Florida white trash. I'm a good person and when it comes to relationships, I'm one-hundred percent, I'm one hundred percent... monogamous.

and Clarence replied,

CLARENCE: You just said you love me, now if I say I love you and just throw caution to the wind and let the chips fall where they may and you're lying to me I'm gonna fuckin' die.

And so they got married. Clarence Worley and Alabama Worley. But Clarence, being a homeboy, was feeling restless knowing that Alabama in a way or another still connected to her pimp daddy, Drexl Spivey (Oldman). So he went to see Drexl to settle the 'debt' as a compensation to set her free. Clarence came with an envelope filled with nothing. Drexl was pissed and whacked the shit out of him, but he (Clarence) managed to shoot and killed Drexl and his right-hand guy. He went back home with Alabama's luggage that was left there. Alabama couldn't believe what he did (killing Drexl). This is the conversation.

ALABAMA: Is this a joke?

CLARENCE: No joke. This is probably the best hamburger I've ever had. I'm serious, I've never had a hamburger taste this good.

(Alabama starts to cry)

CLARENCE: Come on, Bama, eat something. You'll feel better.

(She continues crying)

Finally, he spins on her yelling.

CLARENCE: Why are you crying? He's not worth one of your tears.

CLARENCE: Would you rather it been me? Do you love him?

(no answer)
again.

CLARENCE: Do you love him?

(no answer)

again.

CLARENCE: Do you love him?

ALABAMA: I think what you did was...

CLARENCE: What?

ALABAMA
: I think what you did...

CLARENCE: What???

ALABAMA: I think what you did...

CLARENCE: What???!!

ALABAMA: ... was so romantic.

Then they met in a long passionate lovers' kiss. I was so taken aback at this very moment. Wow... Truly amazing movie, and it's not yet half the whole story. Gosh..

Not since Bonnie and Clyde have two people been so good at being bad.

But it happened that the bag (that was mistaken as Alabama's bag) had so much full of La Coka. Want to know more? Go watch yourself and see what they did with the coke, their journey to Hollywood, the killings and the true romance...

I wish I could write more, because believe me I can write the whole storyline because this movie is the shiznit! Fo shizzle ma nizzle! And plus, I have so many works to do now *still in the office at almost 8pm*

Another thing about this movie, the script is very strong and full of cool lines. Quentin will not upset you. I guess I'm so outdated, since this movie was produced back in 1993, and I was only, err.... 10 years old?? It's good I got to watch this movie at this point of age (it has something to do with your level of maturity, appreciation for films, scripts). Owh and Patricia Arquette in this movie, I'm soooooo fucking in love with her. The character is very cool and sexy but kinda naive.

Lastly, few cool lines that I should mention here (out of thousands):

1- Mentor (Kilmer): You think a cop gives a fuck about a pimp? Listen. Every pimp in the world gets shot. Two in the back of the fuckin' head. Cops'd throw a party, man.

2- Alabama: I had to come all the way from the highway and byways of Tallahassee, Florida to MotorCity, Detroit to find my true love. If you gave me a million years to ponder, I would never have guessed that true romance and Detroit would ever go together. And til this day, the events that followed all still seems like a distant dream. But the dream was real and was to change our lives forever. I kept asking Clarence why our world seemed to be collapsing and things seemed to be getting so shitty. And he'd say, "that's the way it goes, but don't forget, it goes the other way too." That's the way romance is... Usually, that's the way it goes, but every once in awhile, it goes the other way too.

3- Virgil (Gandolfini): Now the first time you kill somebody, that's the hardest. I don't give a shit if you're fuckin' Wyatt Earp or Jack the Ripper. Remember that guy in Texas? The guy up in that fuckin' tower that killed all them people? I'll bet you green money that first little black dot he took a bead on, that was the bitch of the bunch. First one is tough, no fuckin' foolin'. The second one... the second one ain't no fuckin' Mardi Gras either, but it's better than the first one 'cause you still feel the same thing, y'know... except it's more diluted, y'know it's... it's better. I threw up on the first one, you believe that? Then the third one... the third one is easy, you level right off. It's no problem. Now... shit... now I do it just to watch their fuckin' expression change.

There's more. Just go fucking watch already!

When you are tired of relationships, try a romance.

I'll rate this movie: 9/10 mofo!

Tagged by Yaya.

I'll be honest with you all, I never knew what this whole 'tagged' thing is about. I see people 'tagged' other people, 'tagged' here 'tagged' there 'tagged' everywhere. All I know about 'tagged' is only TAG *woot woot*!

It happened last night I was TAGGED by Yaya, Ami's fiancée. I've told you guys earlier, I didn't know what is this all about. So Yaya took her time explaining what this whole 'tagged' means. Basically if somebody 'tagged' me in his/her blog/page or anything, I will have to write the same thing like what he/she wrote. And then I will 'tag' other people and the thing goes on and on. Thing is, I could be tagged again and again by different person, and different group have different set of rules or questions. And after you've done, you can't tag the person who tagged you before again. So it's kinda fun though (yeah so cute I am, isn't it? *kuang kuang kuang*) it's like playing hide-and-seek without, err hiding and seeking.

Anyways, here are the answers. And to those people I will TAG later, DO IT!

Interview with "The People Speak" Participants (KTJ Global Debate Team)

Few weeks ago I received an email from YR, my Director of EcoKnights about this one group of young Malaysians (and apparently there is one Bangladeshi) from Kolej Tuanku Ja'afar who are participating in a huge global environment movement called "The People Speak" organised by United Nations Foundation. These young eco knights is participating in this cause, obviously to raise awareness and crusading for the environment! Aye aye!

To cut it short, last week YR and I went for an interview with Melissa Kong, 19, one of the KTJ Global Debate Team in this program. We talked about EcoKnights, Eco Film Fest 2008 and other related stuff in between. This interview is part of their program tasks to interview some people related to environment, be it professors to eco-friendly product entreprenuers.

As you can see I didn't talk much (have I ever told you guys I'm a shy guy? No?) because YR is still the best person to explain in an extremely good flow (Sorry ma'am, I will develop my PR skill from time to time).

Thanks to Melissa for the honor to be part of the program. To everyone else, you can their Facebook Group or just check out what they have to say here. Big ups!

Lelaki Masa Kini Semakin Menjelikkan?

Bersedia...

Hai.

"Annoying? Mengapa?" soal saya. Hujah si Y, lelaki masa kini (walaupun bukan semua lelaki kerana saya juga seorang lelaki) semakin menganggap wanita hanya objek dan senang dirapati. "Too easy to get", tambah si Y. Maka bertambahlah persoalan saya (hanya di dalam hati) mengenai isu yang ditimbulkan oleh si Y.

Persoalan yang timbul:

1. BENAR atau TIDAK rata-rata wanita menganggap lelaki zaman sekarang semakin annoying dan menganggap wanita itu too easy to get?
Menurut seorang kawan,"A stranger is just another friend." Apa kata anda?

2. Wanita itu sendiri yang "playing too hard to get"?

"Women want guys to respect them the way they want them to", kata seorang lagi kawan wanita baru-baru ini.

But they some times forget, God made everyone different. Cakap banyak nanti dikata gatal, tak cakap banyak pula dikata sombong, terlalu formal nanti dikata bosan, terlalu kasual pula dikata 'bersepah'. Susah..

5. They just simply don't know what they want.
Ingat, saya bukan cakap saya 'tak tahu', tapi 'tak pasti'. Seperti contoh bila saya mengimpikan seorang wanita yang mempunyai kriteria-kriteria tertentu, mungkin citarasa melalui komposisi fizikal agak jelas (tinggi, cantik, rambut pendek, bibir tebal - hanya contoh, bukan kriteria saya) tapi belum tentu ada chemistry di antara kami lebih-lebih lagi saya memang tak pandai sangat subjek kimia masa kat sekolah dulu. Ye tuan-tuan dan puan-puan, chemistry. Boleh dibentuk? Mungkin boleh, tapi tak pasti bagaimana. Feeling and relationship is not really science, it's an ART.

Everyone deserve, at least one fair chance to show/prove/impress another person.

Segala kesalahan tatabahasa amatlah dikesali.

Jangan bermain batu-gunting-kertas sehingga memudaratkan perhubungan.

Which Tree Do You Belong?

Somebody sent me this thing. At first I thought, "Ahhh... Must be another personality explanations shit.." but I did read it and I was like, "Seriously??!!". I mean, I never bumped into anything as close as this and, to my surprise, few of my very close person I know have accurate explanations about them. Don't try to remind me as I know for myself that we can't believe these things. But well, just read and whether those personalities may fit you or may not, it's your call on how you wanna take it. To me, it's cool to discover new things about myself. It's quite accurate, in fact it's very accurate at some points. You guys check it for yourself.

Music Video: Clash - Lakorn Rak Tae : ละครรักแท้ (feat.

I've always wanted to share this song with other people. I heard this first from a friend, a dear friend. Didn't take me long to love this song, but it did take me a while to memorize the lyrics =P It's in Siamese language, but hey, I love Siamese! Listen to this song from one of the biggest rock bands in Thailand, Clash. Lyrics as below, with English translation.

bot la-kon took dton kon rak gan nan dtong ta-lor gan
There are parts in a script where lovers have to argue

por teung dton jop dtrai-dtrong hua jai mong dtaa bok rak laew dee gan
As soon as it comes to the ending, they think things through, look at each other in the eyes and say I love you. Then it becomes resolved.

dtae nai chee-wit jing glua song rao mai jop dang nai la-kon
But in real life I’m afraid that we won’t end like the way it is in dramas

dton taai reuang ja jep tang song reu bprong-dong gan mai roo ja yang ngai
In the end will we both get hurt or will we reconcile? I don’t know how it’ll be.

* baang aa-rom chan gor bpen dtua gong
At times I played the villain

jon ter dtong cham bpuat raao laew lerk gan
To the point where I hurt you, broke your heart and we broke up.

dtae wan dee-dee tee song rao got gan nan yaa leum
But there were good days where we hugged each other, please don't forget.

bprode glap maa haa kon derm-derm eek kra´ng
Please come back to me once more.

dtang dtae ter dern bpai ngao jon kruan jai
Ever since you left I’ve been so lonely that I’m in agony.

la-kon rak tae chan kor len mai sak tee
Please let me play the part in this love story once more.

( repeat * )
la-kon rak tae chan kor len mai sak tee
Please let me play the part in this love story once more.

I must say, this is a very good song. I'll share more songs from different genres and languages and countries. Music is the food of love.

Movie: Redacted

TRUTH IS THE FIRST CASUALTY OF WAR.

Qurban..

Magnificent. Disturbing. Bold. Speechless. Restless. Intense. I wish I could write more words to describe this movie. Maybe I'm being too lenient when I do reviews. Maybe. I can't be too harsh though. At least I tried to rationalize few things when I write about something.

Anyway, as a continuity to the previous Vietnam-war-story, Casualties of War that was shot in 1989, Redacted is a film written and directed by Brian De Palma . It's a fictional drama about Iraq War conflict. On one side, the U.S Army are making fun and insulting Iraqis by calling and referring them to bad names, treating Iraqis like animal but, at the same time tried to portray to the world that these people are terrorists, bad people, and they (U.S Army) were the one who's fighting this war on terrorists. They are the terrorists. Islamophobia. Bollocks!

This movie is in English, but at times, it was narrated by a woman's voice in French (if I'm not mistaken), stating facts about the truth in Iraq War. TRUTH. But, as experimental as it is, and "fictional", this movie can come as close as what really happens in Iraq. Or any other war on terrorists.

I can say that this movie won't be for everyone, especially not to those faint-hearted. It's very srtaight-forward, insulting to Muslims and sad. Sad of how the truth has been covered with media twists. Sad of why do did they start the war, or any other wars for that matter. Truth, my dear friends, is the first casualty of war. WORD.

I'd rate this movie: 8/10

Dem yuh!

P/s - Salam Aidiladha to all Muslims around the world, may this Holy Day brings us the true meaning of Qurban. Amen.

Wish List Year-End 2008 (Part 2)

Here I am again. The second part of.... well I'm not sure how many parts. Maybe few (again..). Come to think about it, I have quite a lot of things I wish to buy before this coming New Year 2009. Why? Because I wanna start my new year with a good vibe. Well it's not about what you have materially you know that, it's about your resolution, your mission, your.... Yes I couldn't agreed more. Let me ask you something;

How do you review your performance for the year 2008? (Be it your life, your career, your relationship, your financial, anything)

If it's bad, won't you give yourself a chance and cut some slacks? after all, not everyday of this year you did bad. There must be AT LEAST one day you were proud of yourself, maybe you helped an old lady crossing the road or something? I'm sure we all have done quite a few good things that entitled ourselves to be rewarded by ourselves. Dem yuh.. Confusing..

If it's good, or better or may be the best year so far for you, what do you do? How do you reward yourself? Are you just gonna tell yourself,"I did good this year. I'll do better next year." and then you'll just move your own sorry ass on without rewarding yourself? That's plain silly I must say. Let me tell you this, if you love someone, say your girlfriend, you'll buy her gifts, or just give her a warm-loving kiss whenever she did great at something, or just because you love her. And God knows how many times you rewarded people around you with gifts, affection, and everything else but list down what have you rewarded yourself throughout this year?

So now, I'm telling you all now, always look up on yourself. Each of you are special in your own possible way, but we need to have one thing in common, to love ourselves.

Me? I just go buy myself some nice stuff and I'm good. Here is the Part 2:

Item 03: Jeans

I love jeans. I have few, not very rare or premium I would say, just normal ones. But I like jeans. I used to like those faded, grunge-looking jeans but now I'm more into the raw jeans. What is raw jeans? Raw denim, as opposed to washed denim, is a denim fabric that is not washed after being dyed during its production. Over time, denim will generally fade, which is often considered desirable.

So yeah, I love raw denims because after certain time, normally 6 months - 1 year without washing (I know it doesn't sound right but, hey it's fashion!) the fading is affected by my body of wearing the jeans and the activities of my daily life. This creates the feel to be a more natural, unique look than pre-distressed denim.

For now, I really want this jeans, badly...

Looking dem gud with the leg-crossing pose eh?

Owh you can't tell what jeans is that? Nothing flashy? Boring? Well I am boring. But I don't care. Dem yuh! I'll show them closer.

The best place is Homme...

It's Dior Homme Raw 19cm Made in Japan jeans. It's slim-straight cut, raw indigo(but I prefer black), and simple. What else could I ask for?

Item 04: Shirts

I need some shirts. Why? This one time I was browsing my closet, I realized that I don't have new shirts. No. My Dockers striped shirt that I used every week, was something I bought like, 5 years ago? Now that means two thing: 1. I'm so stingy I don't buy any shirts OR 2. I love it and I keep it and wear it until now. I'm not sure myself.

Anyways, I went out to some shopping complexes over the last month, just to have a look around and shit. Yes there were some nice shirts and I thought of grabbing but I will not, until I buy this:

Are those buttons straight or my mind is just playing tricks on me?

This is a shirt by H&M with a collaboration by a renowned brand Comme des Garcons. I really like this, I think it's unique yet simple. This whole collection by H&M x CdG was sold out instantly during it's launching last month. Now I have to find it over the eBay.

Wish List Year-End 2008 (Part 1)

Gosh it's already end of 2008. I know I mentioned it more times that I could even remember, but just how fast.. I really hope I will get those money I'm supposed to be getting before New Year 2009. Finger crossed.

Anyways, I have listed down a few ('few' word is very subjective ain't it? hehee..) things that I wish to buy, as a reward to myself for not killing anyone this year *yawn* no no no I'm just kidding I'm not gonna do that, I'm a very good boy *doubtful* ok ok not that good tho', maybe a lil bit naughty *grin*.

And I planned to get these things because I need it. Why do you need it? I thought you already have enough for your own use? Well...... erkkkk.... yea..... but...... No BUT! Enough! Awh c'mon man... Once in a while I do need to pamper and treat myself with something special. And I will tell you why I chosed these over other things/color/design/model. Jeng jeng jeng......

Item 01: Digital Camera

Obviously I don't have a camera. How long has it been? Well, couple of years maybe. And why do you think you need to buy now? Because.... I am a camwhore now, compared to past years.

I don't have a preference yet, since the technology of digital camera is upgrading day by day. I need to have a very long day to survey.

Any suggestion? Any recommendation? Any preference? Yes I do. Good, what? Don't buy. Get out!

Seriously I need some recommendations. Anything particular you have in mind? You again! Hey I'm trying to help you here.. Owh really? Well, I don't really need those DSLR thing, it's too big and not my cuppa tea. Something simple, not too technical, and most importantly stylish. No idea... Thanks, for nothing.

Me likey likey... Goldie goldie...

Item 02: Watch

Something happened to my watch. It's broken and those people from Swatch (dem yuh!) said they don't have the parts. Fuck you Swatch I'm not gonna buy from you buggers again. Not once, but twice! No stock? Not my fucking problem. And, the fact that the watch is not even two years old, and it's from someone really special to me!

So I decided to get myself a new, reliable, strong and stylish watch.

Luminox X Stussy X Delta Series 3000 Limited Edition

Dem.....

Three bodies intertwine in this collaboration, artist Delta, Stussy, and watch brand Luminox, releasing a new series of Luminox 3000 watches. With Luminox you have 18 years of fidelity on your wrist. Luminox Light Technology as they call it now allows you to read your watch effortlessly no matter the availability of light. No matter where you go i'm sure this watch will flourish due to the self-powered micro gas lights.

Isn't it niceeeeeeeeeeeeee............?

Moreover, the gunmetal color suits my company's uniform and my favourite Vans x W)Taps Syndicate Rudeez sneakers:

Gunmetal never looked so sexy before...

Enuff said. Next.

Poetry: My Day

Let's just say I started to write about a month or so ago. I didn't know why, but I know for a fact that for me to improve myself I must:

1)Read - Well I can't say I read that much, but I do read every now and then.

2)Write - Started. Now I have to keep my writing momentum on a regular daily-basis.

and

3)Organize - Well well well... This is a major problem. Okay I'll start soon *bluek*

Anyway let's get back on the track. So yeah this is my first poem. I wrote this first poem somewhere in October this year. It's about a guy who's so in love with his girlfriend. And just to briefly express his feelings for her, he wrote this poem. Check it out.

My Day
by Fad

It's morning
And I'm missing you already
I just had to text you,
"Good morning baby, rise and shine
I hope you're doing fine

Another thing, always be mine.
"

It's afternoon
And I can't stop thinking of you
Watching TV but you're all I see
I just had to text you,
"What are you doing dear?
How I wish you were here.
"

It's evening
And I'm sitting, plucking old guitar
Singing of you my twinkle little star
I just had to text you,
"Fall into my arms, I need you now
Stay with me forever, cause that's our vow.
"

It's night
And it's time to sleep and dream
But just before I text you
My phone beeped and it was you,
"Baby, I love you too
Dream of me and I shall too.
"

Isn't it great to start the day and end the night with your most loved ones?

Great Two Double Zero Eight.

Yes it’s already December. Disember datang lagi. Throughout this fast-paced, exhausting rough year, I realized some things about myself:

I’m already quarter century old.

Yes I know I know. I’m old. It’s kinda tough really, when you’re already entering the mid 20’s and you have so many things to do. Good in a way, bad in other possible ways.

I gained weight.

Not in my desired figure but it’s still a shape nonetheless. Hey, ROUND is a SHAPE. *sob sob sob*

I’m wearing optical glasses.

I felt so frustrated whenever I drive at night or during rainy day, I can’t really see the road. And since I have astigmatism, I tend to have blurry visions. So I got myself a pair. Yes I looked like a computer geek now.

I don’t go for exercise that often anymore.

The most are just casual futsal probably once in a month, bench pressing in the office whenever I feel like, swimming when I have company but mostly I go for a relaxing sauna. Yes. The thing that makes you sweats like a pig with you only sitting and doing nothing for 20 minutes. Yup. At least, I burned my calories and fat bit by bit (with a dying hope of cutting off some weight before I go for beach bum holiday).

I don’t shop that MUCH anymore.

I can say that this year 2008, I made no major purchase or anything that I can actually remember spending for, due to a lot of commitments in life. Or at least I’d like to think that I’m trying to be more responsible and take control of my life.

I don’t party that much now.

Yeah I think I partied most during mid of this year, possibly any party I could get my name under the guest lists, friend’s parties, TAG, LapSap, you name it. But these recent months, I don’t anymore. I enjoy more of live shows, arts exhibitions, something more tone-down. Boring.

I’m working for the same company for almost a year already.

Surprising. I NEVER work before. I always believed I’m not fit to be in someone else’s company. I still remember I joined the team on the January 14th this year. Business Development Department. Sounds heavy to me since I have no freaking knowledge about developing a business. Even though my true passion is in business, I never had any formal education in that sense. I’ve been molded in science stream, much to my memories it’s all about MATH, PHYSICS, BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY bla bla bla.

Well, it’s about time to make new resolutions for the coming 2009. This year has been a mix of different feelings, struggles and motivations. Next year will even be more rough, tougher but I’ma keep digging that hole to find me them GOLD.

Has 2008 been this glorious to you?

Dem yuh!

Seriously I need a camera!!!

Yea.. Another blab..

I had quite a busy weekend with few activities I did with some close family & friends.

Friday night: Dunhill event @ Quattro, Avenue K.

Saturday night: Karaoke session @ RedBox, The Curve

Sunday evening: Watched James Bond's "Quantum of Solace" @ Cineleisure.
Later on: Watched BPL's Manchester United vs Manchester City @ Laundry Bar, The Curve.

No picture. Why? No CAMERA!

I'll tell you why camera is very important:

To freeze a moment in the present to remember in the future.
