I have come to an understanding that as much as a person can love with all they have, they do also have the capacity to hurt on equal measure, by any means.
The more you love, the more vulnerable you will be, the more susceptible you are to be hurt.
Then again, that's the risk we take, because the pleasure we derive from love, sometimes, far outweighs the pain we derive from being hurt.
So, to those who are brave enough to love, are we all potential emotional masochists then?
